GEOG 350 - Urban Historical Geography 2020-2021 Catalog Year
Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 An international survey of past urban environments, their cultural, socio-economic, and technological context, and evolution. Geographical approaches to Latin American, Canadian, European, and Asian cities provide a framework for assessing the particular experience of American urban development between the colonial period and the twentieth century. Emphasis is placed on urban research techniques and topics appropriate to locally accessible archival evidence.
