Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 This course applies the principles of microeconomics and statistics to the industries of professional and amateur sports. The topics include league structure, team decision-making, labor-relations, incentive structures, and stadium financing and the role of public policy. The course is designed to illuminate economic principles foremost, using sports as a convenient vehicle to represent these ideas.
