Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Minor in Mathematics of Computer Science, students will be able to: - Construct mathematical justifications for computer algorithms, including stating or identifying relevant definitions and theorems, proving theorems, and deriving necessary formulas
- Reduce algorithms to working programs in at least one programming language
- Describe at least one example of how appropriate mathematical models lead to correct and efficient algorithms and programs to solve computing problems.
Total Credits Required to Complete Minor: 23
