                  CURR 536 - Teaching Young Adult Literature  Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0
  This course is designed to assist teachers in understanding and applying current theory in educational curriculum and in literary criticism to teaching and integrating young adult literature in grades 7-12. It will also provide the opportunity for students to read and evaluate recent adolescent literature from a variety of perspectives, including those relating to literary technique and gender and cultural differences.
