PLSC 316 - Political Power in American Cities Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 A study of American city politics from administrative, social, and political perspectives. Emphasis is placed on the relationships between local government institutions and urban change, the nature of political decisions and leadership in cities, and resolution of conflicts resulting from the urban crisis, including civil disorders, poverty, welfare, housing, and education. Offered when demand is sufficient.
Prerequisite(s): PLSC 110 or permission of the instructor.
