BIOL 117 - General Biology: Cells, Genetics, Evolution Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 An introductory course in the biological sciences covering cells, information coding and transfer, evolution, and diversity of unicellular organisms. This course will emphasize examples from both the plant and animal kingdoms using an integrated approach. Counts for general education only when taken with BIOL 116 . Intended for science majors and other well-prepared students. Offered every fall.
Prerequisite(s): High School biology and chemistry.
