COMN 213 - Persuasion and Social Influence Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 This course focuses on a variety of theories and applications of persuasive communication. Persuasion is treated as communication which affects how people think, feel, and act toward some group, object, or idea. Students examine both social scientific and humanistic theories of persuasion, and apply these theories in written and oral assignments. Offered spring, odd years.
