COMN 345 - Theories of Interpersonal Communication Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 This course explores theories that attempt to explain person to person interactions. Individual and dyadic variables affecting the development, maintenance, and dissolution of different types of relationships will be addressed. Topic areas, such as attributions, social exchange and equity, attraction, intimacy/ affiliation and power/dominance, will be discussed in terms of current research findings. Offered every fall.
Prerequisite(s): COMN 103 or permission of instructor.
