ENGL 414 - Topics in Nineteenth-Century Literature: (subtitle) Credit(s): 4 Lecture: 4 Non-Lecture: 0 An advanced study of literature written during the nineteenth century; because this course is at the 400-level, particular attention will be paid to published critical perspectives on primary works or into important primary contextual documents. Possible subtitles include: The Civil War and Literature, British Romanticism, French Realist Writers. (May be taken twice for credit under different subtitles.)
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 203 and at least one course at the 300 level; or permission of instructor.
