GEOG 350 - Urban Historical Geography Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 An international survey of past urban environments, their cultural, socio-economic, and technological context, and evolution. Geographical approaches to Latin American, Canadian, European, and Asian cities provide a framework for assessing the particular experience of American urban development between the colonial period and the twentieth century. Emphasis is placed on urban research techniques and topics appropriate to locally accessible archival evidence. Not offered on a regular basis.
Prerequisite(s): GEOG 102 or GEOG 123 , or permission of instructor.
