ANTH 318 - Gender and Sexuality in Latin America Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 An anthropological overview of gender and sexuality in Latin America from prehistory to the current day. Readings and student projects will change yearly to address topics including pre-contact concepts of gender and sexuality, changes in ideas and practices with European contact, and contemporary ethnographic studies of gender and sexuality in the region. Offered fall, even years.
Prerequisite(s): ANTH 100 or ANTH 101 .
