MATH 393 - Honors Thesis in Mathematics Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 0 Non-Lecture: 6 Independent research, directed by a member of the Department of Mathematics. Results of the research are to be reported in (l) a written thesis, and (2) an oral presentation in a Mathematics Department Colloquium or other approved forum. To be eligible a student must have a 3.70 cumulative grade point average in the major and a 3.00 overall. The Department can make special exceptions. Offered by individual arrangement.
Prerequisite(s): Enrollment is by invitation of the Department.
