PHYS 394 - Independent Research Credit(s): 2 Lecture: 0 Non-Lecture: 6 A one-semester work and study experience in an appropriate laboratory. Students are required to complete a formal research paper describing the nature of the project undertaken, problems encountered, methodology employed, and conclusions from the project. This course may be repeated for a total of 6 credits. Offered by individual arrangement. Cannot be counted towards the minimum credits in Physics.
Prerequisite(s): Senior class standing, 3.00 cumulative GPA in physics, and permission of the department.
