BIOL 117 - General Biology - Cells, Genetics, Evolution

An introductory course in the biological sciences covering cells, information coding and transfer, evolution, and diversity of unicellular organisms. This course will emphasize examples from both the plant and animal kingdoms using an integrated approach. Counts for general education when taken with BIOL 118  or BIOL 120 . Intended for science majors and other well-prepared students.
