Social media provides a wealth of data that can help business organizations to create knowledge and draw insights, engage realtime interactions with consumers, and create an unprecedented opportunity for powerful data analysis. In this course, you will gain hands-on experience on how to collect social media data, discover interesting patterns, extract useful knowledge, and support decision making. By introducing and mining the rich data tucked away in popular social websites such as Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Instagram, this course will introduce multiple analysis tools, and discuss the application of social media data analytics to solve real-world business problems in a wide range of business areas.
