This course is designed for the student who needs a basic foundation in algebra and functions for the study of precalculus or applied calculus. An emphasis on developing algebraic skills and an understanding of functions is stressed. Topics include: real numbers, exponents and roots, factoring and simplifying expressions; solving equations and inequalities; functions and their graphs, including linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions.
Prerequisite(s): Three years of high school mathematics including a course in algebra Offered: Not on a Regular Basis
