BIOL 499 - Directed Study Credit(s): As arranged A capstone experience in applied research in the biological sciences. Students work on a research problem in Biology under the supervision of a faculty member. Directed study in this course will employ the scientific skills of reading the primary literature, research (laboratory, computational, data analytic, and/or fieldwork), communication of results through written and/or oral media, and structured reflection.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of BIOL 299 or BIOL 399 and permission of instructor Repeatable: May be repeated for credit Offered: Individual Arrangement
