Business Studies Minor

Effective Fall 2016, admission of new students to the Business Studies minor is being temporarily suspended. Students who entered Geneseo before Fall 2016 may apply as long as they meet the following criteria:

(Not available to Business Administration or Accounting majors. Economics majors may complete a Business Studies minor as long as the elective course does not have an ECON prefix. Courses cross-referenced with an ECON/MGMT prefix may not be counted in both the major and the minor.) Students applying for a Business Studies minor must have earned a 3.00 cumulative GPA to be admitted. The Business Studies minor must be declared prior to the completion of 75 credits.

ACCT 102 - Introduction to Financial Accounting Credit(s): 3
MGMT 263 - Business Law I Credit(s): 3
MGMT 300 - Organizational Behavior Credit(s): 3
MKTG 331 - Marketing Credit(s): 3

FNCE 112 - Personal Finance Credit(s): 3
INTD 325 - Entrepreneurship: Commercial Ideation Credit(s): 3
INTD 425 - Entrepreneurship: Idea2Venture Credit(s): 3
One 300 or 400-level ACCT, MGMT, MKTG, FNCE, or ECON elective Credit(s): 3
