Bioethics is a multidisciplinary field that incorporates a basis in applied moral philosophy with topics around health, medicine, and biotechnology. The ICM in bioethics is aimed at providing students with a strong basis in ethics, especially bioethics, which can then be applied regarding issues of values and politics to all areas of health, medicine, and technology. The microcredential is open to all students, but might be of special interest to those pursuing career paths or future education in medicine or health sciences, public health, biology, social science and humanities based study of health/medicine, philosophy, or bioethics. |
