Course topics include The Rise of the Novel; the Picaresque Novel in English; the Nineteenth-Century British Novel; Dandyism and the Novel; the American Civil War Novel; The Novel during the Interwar Period; and the Black British Novel.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 203 or permission of instructor.
