SPED 481 - Block V Special Education Adolescence Practicum 2024-2025 Catalog Year

This one credit course will include 37.5 hours of field experience working in a practicum setting with students who receive special education services at the adolescence level. Candidates will be responsible for completing behavioral observations, collaborative planning sheets, a video reflection, a family letter of introduction, the context for learning statement, and the research based paper, SOE College Writing Requirement & Key Assignment Data-Based Analysis and Self-Reflection on Impact on Student Learning.
The candidate will receive a letter grade and must receive a C- or higher to move to student teaching. Candidates will be allowed one retake of this course due to failure or withdrawal.
