SPED 370 - Block III Special Education Early Childhood Practicum

This one credit course will include 37.5 hours of field experience working in a practicum setting with students who would fall under the category of low incidence. The focus population would be Pre-K to grade 2 - an early childhood population, if possible. Candidates will be responsible for completing three guided reflections/observation, teacher interview and backwards planning a lesson. Candidates will receive a letter grade and must receive a C- or higher to move to Block IV.  Candidates will be allowed one retake of this course due to failure or withdrawal.

Corequisite(s): SPED 371  and CURR 213  
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): For Transfer Students: SPED 231  and SPED 224  and INTD 203  
Restricted to: Special Education with Childhood Major or Pre-Special Education with Childhood Major
Class Restriction: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
