ECON 376 - Labor Economics 2020-2021 Catalog Year
Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 A study of the economic analysis of human resources, and the policy implications of that analysis. Emphasis is given to the theory of labor supply and demand, wage determination, human capital theory, labor market discrimination, the economic impact of unions, poverty, unemployment, and demographic trends in the labor force.
Prerequisite(s): Proficiency in Basic Requirements and ECON 210 Offered: Every other year Restricted to: School of Business majors. Others may seek permission from the School of Business. Class Restriction: Junior, Senior
