Credit(s): 3 Lecture: 3 Non-Lecture: 0 This course provides an in-depth study of consumer buying behavior from a marketing perspective. Consumer behavior is the study of individuals, groups or organizations and the processes they use to select, secure, use and dispose of products, services, experiences, or ideas to satisfy needs and the impacts that these processes have on the consumer and society. All marketing decisions and applications are based on assumptions about buyer behavior. This course will provide the student with buyer behavior concepts and theories and provide opportunities to apply the learnings to marketing strategy development and business problem resolution.
Prerequisite(s): Proficiency in Basic Requirements and MKTG 331 Offered: Every spring Restricted to: School of Business majors. Others may seek permission from the School of Business.
